At Spatialist we are building the SaaS Content Management System for Brands and Companies entering the Spatial Web.

We're pre-launch and focused on the product engineering phase, and looking for curious engineers to join and help build the next internet: the Spatial Web. You are:

A highly skilled coder, motivated to progress your skills with recent NEXT, React, and Front-End project work. Ideally, you have either startups or corporate experience with at least 2-3 years of work history.

Location:

Either Bali-Based in-office/hybrid, or, remote. All remote team members must be located in South East Asia time zone. With us you have the option to stay remote, or re-locate to bali.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Build reusable components that level up every part of our web application

• Maintain, secure and deploy production code using automated deployment techniques. AWS Code Pipeline + CI/CD.

• Translate Requirements into clean code, focusing on functionality and feature deployment.

• Follow scoped workflow, Jira, trello, confluence, slack - hitting delivery targets and exceeding in clean code + feature quality.

• Participate in peer code reviews, code changes, and design specs.

• Help Improve our frontend developer experience using tools like Gitbook, CircleCI, Datadog, and Sentry

  
  

Skills & Experience Required

• 2-3+ years of professional experience working with React.

• 3-4+ years of professional software development experience.

• React best practices and a commitment to following them.

• Work through new and difficult React issues and contribute to libraries.

• Experience working on large, complex systems.

• Experience working with AWS environment

• Experience maintaining and enhancing API system

• Experience with testing frameworks

• Strong Experience with Git version control

• Strong problem solving skills are essential.

• English Skills (communicate via written and spoken english)

• 3+ years working with modern web technologies and frameworks like Typescript and React.

• Excited to design interface for the Spatial Web and the Metaverse.

• Self-taught or Degree (we care about skills, not paper :-) )

• clearly describe your abilities per language, system, and platform (we'll ask).

• genuine curious with intuition about interface, systems, and structure designs.

• likes fast-paced environments where you get to work directly with customers and make decisions.

• Has a get-it-done attitude. if your project needs an interface element, you’re willing to create it.

• Has an extremely high bar for quality software - you can move fast and ship scalable code with the help of your team.

You'll stand out if you have:

• Next Framework, REACT, TypeScript, other JavaScript frameworks, Node.js.

• Prior experience designing and building dashboard tools or software.

• React and NEXT dashboard across Web, macOS.

• Experience across the stack: Node JS, TypeScript, API's, React-Native, etc...

• Engineer Support: Documentation, Testing Rollout, UI-Kits: make sure it works on multiple platforms.

• AWS: (Very) Comfortable with AWS, CI/CD knowledge/experience.

• Strong Self-organization, ability to coordinate with team, work within planning, deadlines & deliveries.

• comfortable working with design libraries, FIGMA, Zeplin, Sketch & more.

BONUS POINTS: Experience with Commerce transactions, Processing payments within Apps, Wallets, Profiles, AI Agent Engines, Edge Compute Results, Sensors, AI, AMI, ML, Meta, and Spatial Web Content.
